Ustica

The island of Ustica, of volcanic origin, was born a million years ago due to the upwelling of deep magmas from a relaxing break in the lower Tirreno. It is the peak of a huge underwater mountain that emerges from the lonely depths of 2,000 meters in 36 miles north of Palermo.Extended just over 8 square kilometers, the island is of great interest.
