Français (France) During 4 days from 6 to 9 January 2017, pavilion 4 of the Parco delle Esposizioni has experienced the thrill of a successful unconventional event that has established itself as the must-visit for lovers of the sea and oceans.
For this 2017 edition, 413 exhibitors have more than played the game, performing a great job on the aesthetics of some 210 stands installed.
A phase to which is added a program more than ever rich and qualitative with about fifty events per day including lectures, screenings, competitions, book signatures, prizes and other demonstrations of equipment or disciplines. Not forgetting the now traditional bottle diving, snorkeling and diving. In all, almost 1,000 visitors were so immersed in the show's pool, but they were 58.275 (or 5% more than last year) at the gates of the show, to enjoy this exciting event that a good conviviality is like a big meeting family's!
The annual theme, image, marked the spirits and showed the importance of the choice of the founder and president of the fair, Elena of Tayrac. The photo contest registered more than 850 participants. And for the first edition of the Blue Palm (the International Award for underwater video), the prestigious jury of the guarantor of publishing, Christian Petron, the freediver director Julie Gautier and photographer Laurent Ballesta was impressed by the quality of the films. The media coverage of an exceptional event, both on the small screen and in the pages of the major French and international magazines, testifies in turn to the growing public interest in the
sea and its mysteries. The share of dreams and technology, them, the democratization of diving and the many related disciplines. The 6 million spectators gathered in front of their seats for TF1 Zoom dedicated to diving in the Mediterranean and broadcast on Sunday 8 January, certifying that the chain had never recorded such a peak audience for this show ... le Figaro Magazine, who published a 10-page subject on the world of underwater photography this weekend, he was almost exhausted the night he went to the newsstands!
Save the date: The next edition of the Exhibition will be held from 12-15 January 2018 5/2 and 5/3 Pavilions Porte de Versailles in Paris. He will be there to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this exciting adventure. An anniversary that, without a doubt, will perpetuate the success of this great odyssey!
